I've decided that The Guild needs it's own domain, separate from my own. Dragonstorm.com is still under someone else's control. So, I got the nearest thing to it I could . . . dragon-storm.org. Please let me know what you think. :-)
Unfortunately, none of the dragonstorm.anythings we available within a reasonable price range. For example, it was gonna coast over $600 a year for the .net version. The is the best I could do for now. Perhaps we can get it back in the future. I'm going to contact the current holders and see if they will release them. Tim
I expect the best thing to is just wait. After they squat on a poached domain name for a year or two, they aren't going to continue to pay for a name that nobody is trying to get from them. Just keep checking, particularly around the time when the domain last expired on us, because that's likely to be when it expires on the squatter.
I want that name back! Maybe we can do something other than ".com? Shrug. Just a holdover from a gone era. -Cope
