The Guild is set up for further success at Origins next year!
The Guild for Dragon Storm has now become an official club at Origins. We had a very successful first year, although there were significant bugs in the system to overcome. We are planning a very aggressive and packed schedule of games for Origins 2016. We will be offering Classic, Hyrbid, and 2.0 games next year. GMs will already be eligible for a discounted or free badge, as normal, at Origins. But, with our club code, regular Guild members can get a half-price badge, saving you quite a bit of money.

ReplyDeleteWe would like to see a large number of DS players come back to Origins and play Dragon Storm. For the first time in years, we had a large number of events in the pre-reg book at Origins. I believe we had about 22 events in all. Next year, because we're an Official Club and because GAMA is restructuring the ways events are submitted and organized, all DS events will happen in the same room, just the way we've always wanted it. Just another perk for coming back to Origins to play Dragon Storm. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat was really encouraging was the number of people who showed up for introductory games. Hopefully a good amount of them will be back to play their new characters next year.
